Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between farmers and community members that celebrates the local harvest and secures economic viability. It shares the risk and reward of the growing season, in Mother Nature's calm and fury, the pressure of pests and disease, and the balance of crop diversity. It connects grandma's recipes to the heart of ingredients, to where and how food is grown to the farmers who grow it. It creates a community rooted in healthy living, farm-based education, whole foods, and togetherness.
In this community, members sign up for a share and pay full cost in early spring when farmers need to purchase supplies and equipment for the season. In return, members receive 22 weekly shares of the harvest.
